Travels with Kenzie - May Newsletter

Hey friends!

I just got back from an amazing family vacation and can't wait to talk about and show you our experiences.

We spent a couple days at Disney and then a week onboard the world’s largest cruise ship, Star of the Seas. It was such a fun mix of high-energy park days and relaxing time at sea. We went to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot, and somehow packed a lot into just a few days.

It was one of those trips filled with great weather, lots of laughs, and so many memories with my family. Huge thank you to my parents for making it happen !!

Destination Spotlight: Star of the Seas

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like on the largest cruise ship in the world, this is your chance to see it for yourself.

I filmed a full walkthrough of Star of the Seas so you can explore it deck by deck and get a real feel for the layout, spaces, and everything there is to do.

Watch the full ship walkthrough here

And if you’re curious what the rooms actually look like, don’t miss this full room tour here

In my opinion, cruises are an amazing option if you want a trip that combines adventure, entertainment, and convenience all in one. There’s so much to do, but you can still find quieter spots when you need a break.

I’m also working on another video showing what our full week and excursions looked like, so more to come soon.

Travel Tip: Check Your Passport Early

This is one of those small things that can completely derail a trip if you overlook it.

If you’re traveling internationally this year, check your passport expiration date now, not the week before your trip.

Pro tip: many countries require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Even if it looks valid, it might not actually work.

Renewals can take longer than expected, especially during busy travel seasons. You’ll want to handle this early so it’s one less thing to worry about.

Where in the World is Kenzie Headed Next?

Next up, I’m heading to Brunswick, Georgia for a wedding, and I’m really looking forward to this one. It’s one of my high school friends getting married, which makes it feel extra special.

Travel Product of the Month: MagSafe Phone Charger

After a week of Disney park days, navigating, and filming on the ship, my phone battery was definitely struggling to keep up.

A MagSafe portable charger can be really helpful in these kinds of situations, especially when you’re out all day and don’t want to deal with cords.

You can check out an option here

It’s one of those simple travel items that can make long, busy days a lot easier.

Hi friends! I feel like September came and went in about five minutes. I’ve been trying to squeeze in the last few rounds of golf before Wisconsin decides it’s officially winter, while also fully embracing everything I love about fall. The cooler mornings, changing leaves, football weekends, and excuse to spend more time outside make this one of my favorite times of year. I’ve also been spending a lot of time catching up on content from Norway and starting to think ahead to some of the trips...

Hello & Happy September! August was a pretty exciting month around here. We got back from an amazing 10-day trip to Norway, and overall, it was fabulous. We also somehow lucked out with the weather. Norway tends to get quite a bit of rain, but we had several beautiful, sunny days during our trip. I definitely wasn’t complaining! I’m working hard on my Norway vlog now, and I’m hoping to start sharing a lot more from the trip in upcoming newsletters. There’s plenty to come because Norway gave...

Hey friends! Can you believe it’s already August? I definitely can’t! This time of year always feels like the perfect mix of soaking up the last bit of summer and starting to get excited for football, cooler weather, and all things fall. This month, I’m looking back on our Disney trip from spring, getting ready for Norway, and sharing a few travel tips to make your next adventure a little easier. Destination Spotlight: Disney World We recently spent two days exploring three Disney World...
